The following are Pivotal Rockordings artists performing whose albums have been released digitally in all major web-retail outlets and streaming services on December 5th with the exception of ELDRIMNER, whose release date will be in 2012.
AGE OF WOE is comprised of members from END OF ALL, MASSMORD, THE PROCESS and NO HAWAII, the band is fueled by the desire to explore new soundscapes in the vast landscapes of punk and metal, leaving the Gothenburg sound in the dust. Age of Woe was recorded and mixed at Belly of the Whale Studio in Gothenburg with Carlos Sepulveda (NO HAWAII, JOE BARESI, PSYCORE) and mastered by Ulf Blomberg of HoboRec (GRACE.WILL.FALL, COUNTERBLAST, MASSMORD.) The leading single “The Antagonist” is available on the band’s brand new website at http://www.ageofwoe.net/
ELDRIMNER was founded in 2006, immediately playing shows regularly with other groups in the Gothenburg black metal scene. Over the following years, the band’s original black metal sound progressed, taking inspiration from groups as varied as MESHUGGAH and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN. In 2009, ELDRIMNER released an EP entitled I mitt jag which was recorded, mixed and mastered with Marko Tervonen (THE CROWN, ANGEL BLAKE) at Studio MT in Trollhätan and was followed up by shows on the West Coast of Sweden, including a critically acclaimed appearance at Metal Town in 2010. The band’s new material – which features all Swedish lyrics and guest appearances – will be recorded early next year for a Spring 2012 release.

Aron Parmerud, guitarist, backing vocalist and songwriter for MARIONETTE comments:
“’Stand In Line’ is one of the faster songs on Nerve. It is aggressive lyrically, in your face, and very keyboard driven. It also contains one of the few guitar solos on the album. It shows another dimension to Nerve and MARIONETTE for those familiar with another new song we recently posted titled ‘Remember Your Name.’ Those of you who see us on ‘The SlaughTour 2011’ next month will get to hear this song live and in its rawest form.”
MARIONETTE will release its third album, Nerve, worldwide on December 5th, 2011. The album – mixed and mastered by Plec at Panic Room Studios – features artwork by Mark Riddick, as well as by Sven de Caluwe of the mighty ABORTED, and nine epic songs of skull crushing death metal mayhem and darkness. It feels like we’ve taken everything we do to a whole new level on this one, and we can’t wait to get out on the road and play these songs live. This new material is INTENSE, although at the same time a lot more varied and dynamic than what we’ve done in the past. Keep your eyes and ears open friends. Death! Destruction!! GOATS!”
